Drums of Park Kennels are family-run, purpose built boarding kennels set in 7.5 acres, in the heart of rural Aberdeenshire. Our purpose is to care for your dogs, whenever you need us. We provide a nurturing environment, ensuring their safety, comfort and happiness so that you can rest assured that your beloved pets will be well taken care of.

About Drums of Park Kennels

We are fully insured and are licensed by Aberdeenshire Council to accommodate 11 dogs or families of dogs. We have a range of both single occupancy and family units, across two wings of the building. Being a small facility means that we can give each of our boarders the love, care and attention that they deserve.

What We Offer

Comfortable Accommodations

Our spacious kennels have plenty of room for your pets to relax and play. We have a range of sizes so that we can accommodate both single dogs and families of dogs. Each kennel unit has its own individually heated sleeping area along with a fully covered outside exercise run, so that your pets can enjoy the whole space, rain or shine.

Activities

Each day we provide our boarders with at least 4 lead walks around our 7.5 acre grounds, or off-lead play sessions in one of our two enclosed play parks. We also spend quality one-to-one time with each of our boarders, offering play, cuddles, grooming or just quiet 'together' time - whatever each dog needs. Each wing has a DAB radio tuned to soothing stations to provide comforting and familiar sounds throughout the day and night.

Passionate Care Team

Our dedicated team provide attentive care and love to your pets throughout their stay. The owners Zowie and Sean both work full-time in the kennels, and are supported by two part-time experienced kennel assistants.

Safety First

With so much beautiful space at our fingertips we are able to meet all of your dog's needs on our own land. There won't be any walks along busy roads, and we won't encounter other dogs out walking, which is a real bonus for nervous dogs. Our play parks are fully secure with 6 foot fencing so they can play to their heart's content.

We recently had our spaniel, Cooper in for a fortnights stay. This is the longest time he has spent in kennels, so naturally we were a wee bit apprehensive, however we needn’t have worried, we had regular updates on social media, photos and stories and it was very clear he was having a great time. Zowie had even made doggy pancakes for Pancake Day, the care and attention given by all the team at Drums of Park is second to none, and we will definitely be sending Cooper there again for his holidays.

I put our wee boy here for a week over the Easter holidays. He had a few mobility issues prior to going, when I made Zowie aware of these she was brilliant about it. Made sure I felt happy leaving him and explained how he wouldn’t miss out on attention and exercise (as much as he was able)

I was kept up to date with how he was the whole week, sent photos and messages.

He’s come home more mobile than when I dropped him off.

Zowie and Sean really do treat every dog as if they are their own.

We will be 100% using Drums of Park again when we go away.

We are secure in the knowledge that our boy is in the best hands.

My 2 dogs stayed at Drums of Park Kennels for 16 days while I was away on holiday. I got regular updates on them. I can highly recommend them as a place for your dog to board. I have already rebooked my dogs in for a long weekend. The team are amazing. definitely 5*.
