At Drums of Park Kennels we love all types of dogs, and know that there are many reasons why dogs may display behavioural issues, however we are obliged to adhere to the following points:

  • For the safety of our staff and the security of our other boarders we will not accept a dog who is known to be aggressive, either towards people or other dogs. We are also unable to accept any dogs highlighted in the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991, those who have the characteristics of a banned dog breed, or any who are subject to a dog control notice.

  • Should a dog in our care become aggressive, we will contact the owner or their emergency contact to request that the dog is collected at the earliest opportunity. Until this is possible, we reserve the right to ensure that the dog remains in its own kennel and outside exercise area to ensure everyone's safety.
